Upcoming: Thomasville Artifact Show – Sat, April 20th

The first ever Thomasville Artifact show is coming to the plantation pines of southwest Georgia, Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Bring the entire family for a day of fun at the conference center at Southern Regional Technical College on Highway 19 north in Thomasville. This show will feature thousands of authentic Indian artifacts on display along with identification guides, display cases, arrowhead shirts (and hats) and more.

The doors will open at 8:00 for the public and admission is just $5 for adults. Kids 12 and under will get in free AND since the show falls on the Saturday before Easter, there will be an Easter Egg hunt on the grounds where the kids will find plastic eggs filled with REAL arrowheads.

“This is the first arrowhead show that I know of in Thomasville” said Dustin Dowdy, the show’s organizer, “there’s no telling what artifacts will come out of the woodworks.”

Thomasville, Georgia sits just 45 minutes northeast of Tallahassee and is the second largest town in southwest Georgia (behind Albany), boasting a population of around 18,000. The Red Hills Region of Georgia and North Florida boasts some of the most picturesque plantation country in the world. Thomasville itself is surrounded by more than 70 plantations.
